Alba coordinated our work on business and human rights issues with extractive companies, civil society organisations and state agencies in Bolivia, Chile, Colombia and Mexico.
She has worked as auxiliary lawyer in the Colombian Constitutional Court and in the Human Rights Unit of the Colombian Attorney’s Office. She also has experience working with the Presidential Programme on Human Rights on issues related to peace, victims and transitional justice. For two years she coordinated Ecopetrol’s work on the implementation of the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights on the field.
She is a lawyer from Santo Tomas University and holds an MA in Peace, Conflict and Development Studies from Jaume I University, Spain.
