Project Manager – Early recovery in Yobe state, Nigeria

Williams joined International Alert in November 2017. He is responsible for the overall management of a project which supports the early recovery from conflict and improvement of social cohesion and resilience among vulnerable communities in Yobe state, Nigeria.

His areas of expertise include social cohesion, peacebuilding and reconciliation, mainstreaming conflict sensitive programming, conflict analysis and risk assessment, civil society engagement and knowledge management. Before joining Alert, Williams worked as the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Action Against Hunger in Nigeria.

Williams holds an MSc in Disaster Risk Management and a BSc Business Management from the University of Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria.
