Richard Ashiagbor

Former Director of Resource Development

Richard joined International Alert in July 2021 and served as the Director of Resource Development, working closely with country programmes on diversifying the organisation’s pool of donors, strategic partnerships, and consortia.

Richard has worked in International Development for over 16 years, focusing on programme design, securing strategic partnerships, consortia building and programme management. He has previously worked for Care International UK, Christian Aid and the Girl Effect.

Richard holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Salford, UK and a MA in Development Studies from the University of Manchester, UK.
