Bijay is a researcher for our project, ‘Sundar, Shanta Nepal’, aimed at strengthening local capacities and collaboration for peace in Nepal. He also does periodic context analysis and research design and implementation for the country programme. His areas of expertise include research, market systems development, adaptive management, the Reality-based Approach and the Donor Committee for Enterprise Development Standard for Results Measurement.
Prior to Alert, Bijay worked on the Nepal Agricultural Market Development Programme (Sahaj) funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the Nepal Market Development Programme (Samarth) funded by the UK Department for International Development. He has an MA in Anthropology from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
