Executive Assistant to the CEO

Salary: £23, 875 FTE
Duration: Permanent, part time (0.8 FTE)
Based: London, UK

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly organised Executive or Personal Assistant, with a talent for building strong working relationships to provide critical and comprehensive support to International Alert’s (Alert) Chief Executive Officer (CEO). They will play a key role in coordinating Alert’s governance bodies and ensuring compliance, as well as supporting the wider Executive Team and Board of Trustees, as well as running efficient global stakeholder meetings

Our ideal candidate is a confident and proactive communicator (both verbally and in writing) and highly computer literate, who gets a kick out of coordination and innovation. You will be enthusiastic about Alert’s mission, and comfortable with a degree of uncertainty – your day will inevitably involve challenging tasks, both big and small, and exposure to Alert’s stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. You will have a distinct advantage if you have previously worked for an international humanitarian organisation and have proficiency in languages other than English.
