Kingsley Udo

Kingsley Udo is the new Country Director of International Alert Nigeria. Kingsley joined Alert in September 2025 and brings over two decades of experience in peacebuilding, humanitarian action, and development programming across West and Central Africa. He has worked extensively with international and local organisations to design and lead initiatives that address conflict, promote child protection, strengthen community resilience, and empower young people as key drivers of peace.

Before joining International Alert Nigeria, Kingsley held senior leadership and advisory roles in humanitarian response, safeguarding, education, and mental health and psychosocial support, partnering with governments, civil society, and global institutions to advance inclusive solutions in conflict-affected contexts. His expertise spans strategy development, organisational leadership, and building strong partnerships that bridge local realities with global agendas.

As Country Director, Kingsley is committed to deepening Alert’s legacy in Nigeria by fostering collaboration, inspiring innovation, and driving transformative programs that tackle the root causes of conflict. Passionate about the role of youth and communities in peacebuilding, he envisions a future where resilience and dialogue pave the way for sustainable peace.
