We finished our programming in Pakistan in 2018. Previously, we worked with a wide variety of people and organisations to address the drivers of violence and promote peace.
We worked with chambers of commerce, the UN Global Compact and others to build the capacity of the business sector to adopt responsible business practices.
We contributed to reducing violence against women and girls by increasing men and women’s understanding of women’s rights, and promoting early warning of violence within communities.
Through research, we increased understanding of how development programming can contribute to peace. We worked with journalists to increase tolerance, respect and mutual understanding between all communities in Pakistan.
Our programming built the capacity of journalists to practice inclusive, objective and responsible journalism, and supporting minority rights organisations to get their perspectives heard.
We worked in Pakistan from 2012 to 2018.
