This is an exciting opportunity for a person with some experience in communications to develop their skills across a portfolio of communications outputs including events, digital, storytelling and publications. Under the guidance of the Head of Communications and Marketing, you will be working on the collection and dissemination of case studies, assisting with event organisation and promotion, and supporting our digital and publications operations.
With excellent written and verbal English and French or Arabic language skills, you’ll be able to grasp complex issues and present them clearly, adapting your output to meet the needs of different audiences. You’ll have a proven ability to write and copy-edit communications materials, a good understanding of branding, and experience using visual communications and photography.You’ll be working on multiple projects at the same time, often to tight deadlines, so will need to be able to manage your time effectively, be well-organised and have an eye for detail. You’ll be an excellent networker, confident at building relationships across all levels of the organisation. Knowledge or a demonstrable interest in peacebuilding, international development or human rights is essential. In return, you will have the opportunity to work for an innovative charity with a dedicated group of peacebuilders working across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
