Chair, International Alert

Carey Cavanaugh is Chairman of the Board of International Alert and professor of diplomacy and conflict resolution at the University of Kentucky.

As a US Ambassador and former co-chair of OSCE’s Minsk Group, he worked on conflicts involving Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Tajikistan and Turkey.
