Social cohesion programme in northeast Nigeria mid-term and final evaluations

These are summaries of the mid-term and final evaluations of the 'Social cohesion programme in northeast Nigeria' project (also known as 'Supporting vulnerable communities and conflict-sensitive reintegration in northeast Nigeria') (2017–2019), which aimed to promote the reintegration of women, girls and children associated with Boko Haram and to address the stigma and the negative perceptions that they face.

International Alert has chosen to focus the evaluation criteria on impact, effectiveness and sustainability, following the OECD DAC guidelines and quality standards for evaluating peacebuilding interventions in settings of fragility.

The evaluations, including the desk reviews, field work, analyses and reporting, were carried out from January to March 2018 for the mid-term evaluation and from January to March 2019 for the final evaluation.
