Small arms control in Eurasia

A series of assessments published by International Alert in English to support the exchange of knowledge and information about small arms controls in Eurasia.

The research was carried out as part of the Monitoring the Implementation of Small Arms Controls (MISAC) project. It involved both significant amounts of desk-based research including the examination of relevant reports, government publications and newspaper articles, as well as direct in-country engagement in the form of  interviews with officials, academics and nongovernmental organisations (NGOs) in each of the countries studied. The report has then been subject to the evaluation of a number of individuals who are known for both their interest in the region and their expertise in the area of small arms.
