In Tajikistan we help people and communities to find peaceful solutions to conflict.
We facilitate dialogue between the government and civil society, promote the role and capacity of civil society organisations to bridge the gap between societal concerns and the democratic process, strengthen social partnerships and promote civic education. We also aim to help curb the levels of violence against women and girls in the country, with a particular focus on domestic violence.
Our work is important because it promotes building consensus through dialogue as well as enhancing pluralism and inclusiveness in policy-making relating to democratisation, human rights and peacebuilding.
We have been working in Tajikistan since 2009.
