Lulsegged worked for us from 2002–2017. His role focused on peacebuilding in Africa, the African Union, the African Peer Review Mechanism, democracy and governance. He is a member of the Royal African Society and on the editorial board of Cosmopolis magazine. He has authored and co-authored books and articles on natural resources and conflicts, gender and climate change. His publications include, Diamonds: Facing the challenge of peace and The church as a third party intervener in resolving conflict. He has a PhD from the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution, George Mason University.
