Middle East Director
We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our dynamic Middle East programme. To manage and oversee Alert’s peacebuilding portfolio in Lebanon specifically and with oversight to develop our programmes across the region. You will manage our team in Lebanon, lead on the implementation of our strategy across the Middle East, oversee and guide fundraising efforts and collaborations, and work towards ensuring impactful, well-managed peacebuilding programmes.
We are looking for a candidate who can has significant leadership experience, managing development, peacebuilding or similar projects in Lebanon and the region. Someone who is a strategic thinker with excellent people management skills. Technical peacebuilding skills in areas such as conflict sensitivity, monitoring and evaluation, training and research are a strong asset. You will be a proactive, delivery-focused problem solver, with excellent interpersonal and team-working skills.
