Call for Expression of Interest – Impact Assessment

  • Contract duration: 20 working days between October 2024 and January 2025
  • Location: Kathmandu, Nepal
  • Closing date: 25 July 2024 (23:59 UK Time)

International Alert invites expression of interest from interested and qualified individual and firm/company to conduct an impact assessment of Alert’s work with local governments in Nepal.

The individual or firm/company should have following qualifications and experiences:

  • Master’s degree in social science or education or law or human Rights or conflict and peace study or in a relevant field.
  • At least ten years of relevant professional experience working in human rights, access to justice, transitional justice and peacebuilding. Preference will be given having previous work experience both in Nepal and other countries.
  • Proven experience of conducting study/research on relevant areas such as human rights violations, gender, transitional justice, conflict transformation, peacebuilding and other social issues. Preference will be given having previous work experience both in Nepal and other countries.
  • Proven experience in drafting and editing research reports related to transitional justice, human rights, conflict transformation, peacebuilding and other social issues.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
