- Music for Peace – TONIGHT: Barb Jungr in concert
TONIGHT, 1st December 2009: Renowned jazz singer Barb Jungr will be performing Not in Our Name, at All Hallows Church, in support of International Alert and the Helen Bamber Foundation. Find out more. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
- Pray The Devil Back To Hell – A film screening
TOMORROW, 2nd December 2009: International Alert invites you to the a screening of Pray The Devil Back To Hell,
a documentary film that chronicles the remarkable story of the
courageous Liberian women who came together to end a bloody civil war
and bring peace to their shattered country. Followed by Q&A chaired
by Oona King with two of the film's protagonists: Etweda "Sugars"
Cooper and Asatu Bah Kenneth. Find out more.
- Run for Peace, Run for Alert! – The Brighton Marathon
We are really pleased to announce that we have places for this brand new marathon! Due to take place on Sunday 18th April 2010, the Brighton Marathon
will provide a nice change from the London Marathon. Take in wonderful
coastal views, fulfil a personal challenge and run for peace!
Individual places have now been filled and only charity places are
available, please email us at fundraising@international-alert.org to sign up!
