New report from International Alert:
- A Climate of Conflict: The links between climate change, peace and war –
A new Alert report, 'A Climate of Conflict' lists 102 countries
at risk of climate change-related violent conflict and instability, and
calls for an immediate investment in adaptation. >>MORE
- Peacebuilding in Eastern DRC: Improving EU support for economic recovery –
This report argues that peacebuilding must be at the heart of
poverty reduction and economic development efforts in DRC. The
publication will be launched at an event hosted by Alert and Crisis
Management Initiative in Brussels on 5 December 2007. The discussion
will explore ‘How Can the EU Improve its Support to Peacebuilding
