Giving local voices a world stage – Last
week Goretti Ndacayisaba spoke of her experiences building peace in her
own community in Burundi at a meeting of international civil society
and policymakers in New York. Read more on her New York speech here

Addressing political killings in the Philippines –
Since the breakdown in the peace process in 2004 there has been a
frightening increase in summary executions. Reports published in
February support Alert's calls for action and a redoubling of efforts

International Alert
