We believe peace is possible, but we need your help to achieve it. Together we can make a difference.
Through a partnership with International Alert your company will not only help thousands of people rebuild lives destroyed by fighting; you will be partnering with a responsible and respected organisation.
You will be supporting a vital and growing charity, where your help will have a significant impact.
We are the UK’s leading peacebuilding organisation helping millions of people affected by violent conflict to lead a peaceful existence. Building peace is a vital investment in the future – an investment we want you to be a part of.

Payroll giving
Payroll Giving is the most tax efficient way to help build peace; it allows you to give straight from your wages before you are taxed. So if you pay tax at the basic rate, a £10 donation only costs you £8.
If you’re in the higher tax bracket (40%) it will only cost you £6 to donate £10. So the charity gets more and it costs you less. If you are a higher rate taxpayer, payroll giving is the only way that we can automatically receive all the tax on your donation.
Payroll giving shows that your organisation cares about the causes close to its employees.
From boosting employee morale and raising your organisation's profile, to enhancing community involvement programmes, payroll giving is good for business. To show their commitment to the scheme, many companies also offer matched giving, effectively doubling or tripling employees' gifts, providing further incentives for staff to take part.
If you’d like to support peace through payroll giving, ask your HR or payroll department if there’s a scheme at your workplace. If so, you can set up your donations through them.
If your employer does not offer this scheme, suggest that they introduce one - it is easy and inexpensive to run. We can help set it up! Email fundraising or call 020 7627 6800
