The Human Rights Watch Film Festival returns to London from 21st - 30th March with a programme packed full of documentaries and dramas that focus on four themes: development, environment and the global economy; migrants’ rights and racism; personal testimony and witnessing; and women’s rights.
This year, in association with Human Rights Watch, International Alert is proud to present two films set to inspire, inform and trigger debate:

WHERE DO WE GO NOW?
CLOSING NIGHT FILM & RECEPTION
30 March, 18.30 ¦ Ritzy Cinema
Set against the backdrop of a war-torn country, Where Do We Go Now? tells the heart-warming tale of a group of women determined to protect their isolated, mine-encircled, community from the pervasive and divisive outside forces that threaten to destroy it from within.
"Through Labaki’s wonderfully insightful comic eye, Where Do We Go Now? confronts the hard truths of Lebanon’s fractured society, offering an alternate vision of transcendence and unity. Spirited musical sequences capture the magical qualities of this place and these people, illuminating the absurd nature of a war between brothers" - Sundance Film Festival 2012. Find out more [10]
