Would you like free entry to a festival this summer in return for working in a beer tent?
Through Workers Beer Company, International Alert gets allocated places to some of the most popular festivals across the UK, and here's your chance to get involved.
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Serving drinks in the festival beer tents.
You get:
- Free entry to the events you work at
- Access to an enclosed secure 'village' area where Workers Beer Company staff camp at events
- Two free drinks (usually given as staff tokens) per person per 6 hour shift
- Meal vouchers
- To enjoy everything the festival has to offer before and after your shift
International Alert gets:
- Your wages at a rate of £6.50 an hour to go towards building peace in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East
What you need to do now:
- Get in touch! Email us at fundraising@international-alert.org expressing your interest in wanting to volunteer and we'll be give you all the details about the festivals you can potentially get involved with.
Please note: Transport is not provided for all the festivals. Where it is, this means from London to the festival and back. No other travel from outside the UK or within is provided. Please also bear in mind, you will need to take time off work to meet the attendance requirements. You will be required to pay International Alert a refundable deposit if chosen to volunteer.
